No woman ever shunned Robert Burns' advances... until he met Clarinda.

Original cast recording of the musical play written by Mike Gibb, with music composed by Kevin Walsh. The story of Nancy McLehose and her four year platonic affair with Robert Burns, the relationship which led to the famous Clarinda and Sylvander letters and inspired Burns to write Ae Fond Kiss.

The musical premiered at the Netherbow Theatre, Edinburgh in January of 2008 before touring venues in Glasgow, Cumbernauld, St Andrews and Aberdeen. Cast: Sabrina Carter (Nancy McLehose), George Drennan (Robert Burns), Gillian Budd (Jean Armour / Jenny Clow) and Ian Hammond Brown (Gavin Hamilton / James McLehose).
