In this collaboration Alan Reid (Battlefield Band) and Rob van Sante present a seamless fusion of both the old and the new traditions, featuring Alan's compositions, Battlefield Band favourites and Rob's own songs - Scots songs and tunes peopled with heroes, vagabonds, dreamers, zealots and workers, in other words, ordinary folk.

Their repertoire combines the solid DADGAD tuned guitar accompaniment of Rob, the keyboard and guitar work of Alan and the fine harmony singing of both.

With guests Alasdair White, Mike Katz, Tom Napper, Roy Whyke and Alistair Russell.
