Acclaimed by many as the greatest show on earth and one of the world's most breathtaking spectacles, and celebrating the 200th Anniversary of the Battle of Trafalgar in the company of over 200 Royal Marine bandsmen.

The 56th Edinburgh Tattoo includes performers and music from Trinidad and Tabago, the Guard of His Majesty the King of Norway, The Band and Bugles of the Light Division and The Massed Bands and Massed Pipes and Drums from Scotland's Regiments and across the Commonwealth.

Classic tunes this year include the Paul McCartney hit Mull of Kintyre, Caledonia and the unforgettable finale Band of Brothers.

Other tunes include Mhairi's Wedding, When You And I Were Young Maggie, Fear a Bhata, The Meeting Of The Waters, The Cock Of The North, Road To The Isles, Zorba The Greek, Loch Lomond, Andy Renwick's Ferret, Yellow Bird, Jamaican Farewell, We're No Awa' Tae Bide Awa', Flower of Scotland, Kalinka, A Life On The Ocean Wave, Scotland The Brave and Auld Lang Syne.

Regiments include 1st Battalion Scots Guards, 1st Battalion Irish Guards, 1st Battalion The Royal Scots (The Royal Regiment), 1st Battalion The Royal Highland Fusiliers (Princess Margaret's Own Glasgow and Ayrshire Regiment), 1st Battalion The King's Own Scottish Borderers, 1st Battalion The Black Watch (Royal Highland Regiment), 1st Battalion The Highlanders (Seaforth, Gordons and Camerons), 1st Battalion the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders (Princess Louise's), 1st Battalion The Royal Gurkha Rifles, Scotland's Universities Officer's Training Corps, The Rats of Tobruk, City of Wellington and the South African Irish Regiment.

Other performers included The Edinburgh Military Tattoo Highland Spring Dancers with The Highland Dancers from New Zealand, The Royal Marines Display, The Band of HM Royal Marines Plymouth, The Band of HM Royal Marines Scotland, The Band of HM Royal Marines Britannia Royal Naval College, The Highland Band of the Scottish Division, The Band of The Light Division, The Tattoo Choir (Kevock Choir) and the Lone Piper.
