Performed by the original cast of the Lemon Tree Theatre Production, Aberdeen, June 2001 - Jill Hay, Stuart Youngson, Paul Hughson, Derek Carle, Shirley Cummings, Brian McDonald, Val Munro, Craig Pike, Angela Duguid, Lindsay Cromar, Dana Blyth and Louise Gillespie. Musicians - Graham Stephen (keyboards, guitar) and Lindsay Cromar (guitar).

A Land Fit For Heroes is an original Scottish musical telling the moving story of an ordinary Scottish family, and in particular the matriarchal figure of Sarah McLeod, as they struggle against historical events that touch their lives including eviction from their croft, emigration, and the aftermath of the First World War and the rise of Socialism. The musical is set in the Scottish Highlands and Glasgow.
