Extended highlights from the 2005 show programme, plus a feast of extras packed into this DVD release, including the main feature both with and without commentary, Salute To Australia featurette, Video News release, Tattoo fireworks and Imp Cam.

Acclaimed by many as the greatest show on earth and one of the world's most breathtaking spectacles, and celebrating the 200th Anniversary of the Battle of Trafalgar in the company of over 200 Royal Marine bandsmen.

The 56th Edinburgh Tattoo includes performers and music from Trinidad and Tabago, the Guard of His Majesty the King of Norway, The Band and Bugles of the Light Division and The Massed Bands and Massed Pipes and Drums from Scotland's Regiments and across the Commonwealth.

Classic tunes this year include the Paul McCartney hit Mull of Kintyre, Caledonia and the unforgettable finale Band of Brothers.
