West Highland accordion. Gary plays and writes in traditional and contemporary Scottish styles. This album stands out for the skilled arrangements, the range of Scottish styles and the gathering of talent playing along with Gary.

Gary is from a small village in the north west Highlands called Spean Bridge, just north of Fort William. He started playing the accordion at the age of 9, on a small 8-bass accordion. Gary has since played for film stars, royalty, and was featured on the Hogmanay Live Show 2004 on BBC1.

"Gary Innes is the latest in a line of young box players hailing from the Lochaber area. His 'locomotive' style has been wooing audiences up and down the country and this first recording will blow your socks off!" (Dougie Hunter)

"Fantastic playing, backing and production. This is a must-buy album for any music lover." (Sandy Brechin)

"Brimming with digital dexterity and just inside the speed limit." (Norman Chalmers, Scotland on Sunday)
