Aine Ui Cheallaigh has twice won Corn Ui Riada, the prestigious award for Sean Nos singing. Her rendition of Lift The Wings, in Riverdance, gained her international acclaim.

Many of the songs on this CD are from the collection of Liam de Noraidh in the East Munster area.

The album features a selection of exquisite songs from South East Munster, collected by Liam de Noraidh in the 1940s and quite different from their better-known renditions.
