"Las", contains 10 songs, a blend of traditional songs from his native area and self-penned Gaelic songs.

He has had a passion for Gaelic song from an early age and claimed the coveted An Comunn Gaidhealach Gold Medal in Dunoon in 2006.

Alasdair Whyte (guitar), Ross B Wilson (keyboard), Alan J Nairn (guitar), Joe Rattray (bass guitar), Louis Linklater Abbott (drums, percusssion), Megan Henderson (fiddle), Gordon Gunn (mandolin), Robert Robertson (vocals), Stuart Jackson (vocals), Mary Ann Kennedy (vocals).

"The best debut album from a Gaelic artist in years, Las is a beautiful, beguiling and irresistible mix of tradition and innovation. Alasdair writes with rare depth and integrity. Eloquent, impassioned and powerful, Las is a landmark recording that will appeal to fans of Runrig and Julie Fowlis while smouldering with a heartwarming intensity that's all its own." Kevin MacNeil (Love and Zen in the Outer Hebrides, A Method Actor's Guide to Jekyll and Hyde).
