Two of the founder members of Runrig have collaborated on this project symbolised by Rockall, an island outcrop lying 300 miles off mainland Scotland.

The inspiration for the songs came from their childhood in the Western Isles. Growing up in the late 50s and 60s, rock 'n' roll and pop culture impacted on the Gaelic community.
