Calum Martin has recorded albums spanning five decades, from the late 1970s to 2010. An Dealachdh (The Parting) showcases the various influences which have helped Calum shape his music over the years.

Calum has been involved in composing, recording, performing and teaching Gaelic music for a number of years. Recently he has been involved in setting up a new Gaelic music course at The Nicolson Institute in Stornoway, after spending the previous sixteen years as an itinerant Gaelic music instructor in primary schools throughout the island of Lewis.

Calum Martin (vocals, guitar) with Isobel Ann Martin (vocals), Catherine Joan Martin (vocals), Jason Roller (guitar, fiddle), Steve Allan (guitar), Scott Neubert (mandolin, guitar, banjo, dobro), Dow Tomlin (bass), Fraser Fifield (whistle, Border pipes), Gene Rabbai (keyboards, programming), Peter Young (drums, percussion), Bobby King (bass), Bob Hatter (guitar), Iain Morrison (whistle, smallpipes), Neil Campbell (slide guitar), Arlene Faith (fiddle), Neil Johnstone (cello) and The Nicolson Institute Choir.
