Catriona Watt from the Island of Lewis won the title BBC Radio Scotland Young Traditional Musician of the Year 2007 after a moving and beautiful performance at The City Halls is Glasgow during Celtic Connections Festival.

Catriona has since performed all over the world, as a solo artist at Celtic Colours, Canada and with her band at Forde Music Festival Norway, Denmark, Germany and Ireland.

The lovely songs on this CD include the title track Cadal Cuain (Sea Sleep) - a girl's heartbroken lament for her drowned sweetheart.

The CD booklet details the song words in both Gaelic and English.
