(March 2003) 5 tracks: Introduction by Archie McCulloch * I Can't Give You Anything But Love, Baby * I'm Gonna Sit Right Down And Write Myself A Letter * Strip The Willow: Donald MacLean / Jig o'Slurs / Lady in the Bottle * Archie MacCulloch's Polka.

Previously released on cassette and now available on CD. With an introduction by Archie McCulloch, this recording of 'Britain’s funniest comedian' live in concert brings you some of the best of the humour for which Chic Murray is famous, along with several tracks of music from Archie and friends.

Chic Murray was brought up in the land of sugar, ships and showers. Many of his stories were from the Tail of the Bank - joiners, platers and plumbers in the shipyard. Chic's fun was plucked from life and originality in style was his keynote. He often toured the halls as a double act with his 4 foot 11 inches-high wife Madie, a singer and accordionist.

Latterly Chic was making films all over the world, appearing in cameo roles in Bill Forsyth's films Gregory's Girl and Local Hero.
