Having already established themselves as one of Scotland’s hottest young roots-fusion outfits, Croft No Five now step decisively into the grown-up premier league, with the release of their second album, Talk of the Future.

Recorded, produced, mixed and mastered by the band in their own Glasgow studio, Talk of the Future sees Croft No Five expanding confidently from their original Scottish-based sound, to take in a wealth of wider rock, dance and world-music influences, with elements of Arabic, swing, funk and trad, blended by whistles, sax, guitars, drums, accordion and flugelhorn.

Croft No Five are Misha Somerville (whistles, saxophone), Paul Jennings (drums, programming), Barry Reid (guitars) and John Somerville (accordion, synths, programming).

Also featuring Duncan Lyall (bass), Euan Macpherson (jaws harp), Fraser Stone (dumbeck), Stuart Pollack (trumpet, flugelhorn), Adam Sutherland (strings) and Jonathan Urquhart (words).
