Mandolinist Dagger Gordon is joined by his son Colin, on guitar, to breath new life into a collection of their favourite old Scottish tunes.

The tunes were recorded live in the studio using only two instruments, a Sobell mandolin and a mahogany Martin guitar.

"While it is absolutely great that we have so many good new tunes, I began to feel that some of the old ones weren't getting played enough and it would be good to give them an airing." Dagger Gordon.
