Fiona discovered her great grandfather's fiddle at the age of 14, and went on to win several competitions for playing and composing, becoming Orkney's Young Musician of they Year in 1995, aged just 16.

She has since recorded this solo album, and has performed at events including the Shetland Accordion and Fiddle Festival, the Orkney Folk Festival and, in 2002, Fiona appeared at the 20th WOMAD Festival, held in Reading.
