Fraser Fifield is a musician and composer originally from the North East, with a background in traditional music. He has previously been a member of Salsa Celtica, Wolfstone, Old Blind Dogs and The Mick West Band.

One of Scotland's most talented and creative musicians, Fraser continues to push the boundaries of musical styles, both traditional and contemporary, with his Trio.

Fraser Fifield (low whistles, soprano sax, additional sounds), Graeme Stephen (guitar, loops) and Stuart Ritchie (drums, percussion).

"A distinctive brand of jazz-flavoured Celtic music with a real sense of purpose" (MOJO)

"At once lyrical and radical, playful and soulful, talented and innovative - it’s music that places Fifield somewhere between Michael McGoldrick and Jan Garbarek" (The Scotsman)

"Fraser Fifield is a quite unique talent and can keep an audience spell-bound all evening" (BBC Celtic Roots)

"Surprising, beautiful, original music" (The Planet, Australia)

"An astute compositional sense and the ability to transfer private musical thoughts into a multicultural blast for the listener" (The Herald)
