Individually their musicianship is without equal. As an ensemble there is none more innovative. The House Band explores all aspects of the Celtic tradition, and in doing so have won accolades around world from critics and fans alike. When looking for material the group leaves no stone unturned, bringing new life to the forgotten melodies of Brittany, Northumbria, Scotland and Ireland.

Their fifth Green Linnet recording includes airs and jigs from Breton, hornpipes played in their original English form, and the American folk classic Rock In The Mountain. Roger Wilson's voice soars on the album's title track, Robin Williamson's breathtaking October Song. Ged Foley's tender treatment of The Grey Funnel Line has long been a crowd favorite at The House Band's live performances and is finally included on record. The program is not entirely from the Atlantic seaboard, however, as the instrumental sets include a Romanian dance tune and Roger's Greek inspired Zakynthos Jig.

Featuring Ged Foley, Chris Parkinson, John Skelton, Roger Wilson and Andre Marchand.
