Alasdair Downie And His Scottish Country Dance Band: Alasdair and his band were well known and respected on the dance circuit of the west coast of Scotland and beyond.

Bobby Crowe And His Scottish Country Dance Band: Fifer, Bobby Crowe, was involved in the Scottish Dance Band scene from the early fifties. He was an original member of The Olympians dance band before forming his own band in 1955. His first BBC broadcast followed in 1961.

The Danelaw Country Dance Band: Formed in 1969, The Danelaw Country Dance Band hails from the north-east of England and regularly feature on BBC Scotland's Take The Floor.
