A superb long awaited album from accordion maestro Michael and the Ardmhor Ceilidh Band featuring a broad mixture of classical and traditional tunes.

The title comes from Michael's early years visiting his Granny, Marion Macneil Of Ardmhor, he pestered a neighbour every day to take him fishing. The reply was always "The Day After Tomorrow". Finally, his wish was granted... hence the album title.

"The Day After Tomorrow" has arrived.. and well worth the wait!

Michael has been playing the accordion from age 8 and was taught in Glasgow by Jimmy Blair in the Classical style. He played in Jimmy's orchestra and competed all over Britain and abroad.

Many annual holidays to the Island of Barra gave him the opportunity to play at ceilidhs and dances where he acquired a "West Coast" style of playing. So much so that he was soon to win the accordion competition at the National Mod in Inverness.

Michael's wife Joanie is from Oban, Argyll, and has also played from a young age. She has won the Scotland Fiddle Championships at Perth and Musselburgh. More recently she has judged at the Glenfiddich Awards Championships at Blair Atholl.

They are in demand all over Scotland and have played internationally for weddings, Burns Nights and St Andrews Night celebrations including North America, Australia, Germany, France, Egypt, Jersey, Sweden, Spain and regular events in St Petersburg and Moscow, Russia.

Michael Garvin (accordion), Joanie Garvin (fiddle), Colin Garvin (accordion, piano), Fraser MacInnes (drums).
