(1999) 10 tracks: To the Beggin' I Will Go, The Branle, Forfar Sodger, Mill o' Tifty, Bannockburn Road, Battle of Waterloo, Soup of the Day, Roslin Castle, Edward, The Ritual.

For ten years, Old Blind Dogs has stood at the leading edge of the roots revival that has both reawakened and revolutionized Scottish music. Combining a deep appreciation of ancient traditions with a contemporary, dynamically cosmopolitan musical approach, their uniquely distinctive music puts the sounds of their homeland firmly on the World music map.

The World's Room, their first recording on Green Linnet, reveals the depth and refinement honed through nearly a decade of performing and recording. Featuring deft ensemble vocals and their new lead singer Jim Malcolm, the instrumental force of piper Rory Campbell, fiddler Jonny Hardie, and citternist Buzzby McMillan, and the percussive drive John Jennings on djembe, Old Blind Dogs is at once true to their tradition and as fresh as today.
