(February 2010) 12 tracks (48 mins): The Turkish Revery * Le Voyage * Silvy Silvy * Swerving For Bunnies * The Jubilant Goat * Caroline Of Edinburgh Town * Belladrum Outhouse * Malcolm's New Fiddle * Blackbirds And Thrushes * Madam, Madam * Panic! * Farewell Song.

A stunning synthesis of virtuosity and energy from Ailie Robertson (Scottish harp - Live Ireland winner), Fiona Black (piano accordion, fiddle - BBC Fame Academy winner), Mairi Rankin (fiddle, song - Rankin Family, Beolach), Norah Rendell (song, flute, whistle - Canadian Trad Singer Of The Year nominee) and Cillian O'Dalaigh (guitar, flute - Trazz).

The Outside Track's marriage of Canadian, Scottish and Irish music and song has been rapturously received around the world. Hailing from Scotland, Ireland, Cape Breton and Vancouver, the five members are united by a love of traditional music and a commitment to creating new music on its foundation.

Using fiddle, accordion, harp, guitar, flute, step-dance and vocals these five virtuosos blend boundless energy with unmistakable 'joie de vivre'. Each member of The Outside Track is a master of their instrument, with the band stacking up an impressive number of international awards - and the end result is so much greater than the sum of the parts.

The band have enjoyed several years of extensive touring in the UK and Europe, including appearances at Goderich, Sidmouth, Whitby, Cornwall and Leigh-on-Sea festivals. They have recently completed their first tours of France, Germany, Canada and Switzerland.
