The dances on this double CD represent the complete archive of the modern Highland dancer’s repertoire.

They include the more common Championship dances, plus two other special sections - sword dances and babies (with its own special tempos) as well as two extended practice tracks which have been included at the request of many dance teachers.

The National and Lesser Known dances have been enjoying so much special interest in recent years that it was decided to include them all and make this album unique in its completeness. If it helps to bring them even more to life, then so much the better.

All of these dances have been in print over the years and only recently the Scottish Official Highland Dancing Association started to publish its extensive archives in book form.
