This fascinating and haunting wildlife programme - narrated by Virginia McKenna of the Born Free Foundation - centres on the West of Scotland, not far from the Isle of Mull (the last stronghold of the wild sea otter in Britain) made famous by Gavin Maxwell and his highly acclaimed novel Ring Of Bright Water.

Featuring unique archive footage of Gavin Maxwell playing with the otters in the streams that run close by Camusfearna, as well as the work being done today by Paul and Grace Yoxon, who care for injured and sick otters at a facility not far from Camusfearna, funded through the International Otter Survival Fund (IOSF) which they set up in 1993.

The DVD also features Paul and Grace opening a geology museum and rehabilitation centre, and assisting in other survival projects throughout the world.

A percentage of the profit from sales of this DVD will be donated to the International Otter Fund and Born Free Foundation.
