The annual pre-World Championship concert has become a meeting place for the competitors prior to the competition, so a lively and knowledgeable crowd is guaranteed.

The band on stage therefore, must be good - and this one was. They won the Championship three days later.

Pipe Major Richard Parkes, Drum Major Andrew Scullion, 19 Pipers and 11 Drummers, with Mark Armstrong (congas, drum kit), Frank Cassidy (bouzouki) and Annabell Drummond (vocals).
