Old settings of piobaireachd providing a direct link back to the playing of the MacCrimmons of Skye, preserved by Simon Fraser in Australia.

The music on this CD is the Fraser settings in the Fraser style and is mainly a collection of incomplete tunes, chosen because they demonstrate an unusual movement, or a variation not heard elsewhere, or one with unconventional timing.
