(January 2008) Encouragement * William Taylor * Effects Of Love * Anti Carol * Madeleine * Tam Lin * Holy Thursday * The Poet, The Wife and the Monkey * Demon Lover * My Personal Revenge * Polly Garter's Song * Parting * Fair Annie

One of the most distinctive voices on the English folk scene, Frankie is a highly regarded voice coach.

Her version of Tam Lin is the one by which all others should be measured. This is a thought-provoking album delivered with passion.

Frankie came to prominence in the 1960s as a member of Ewan MacColl's Critics Group. Two solo albums on the Topic label , and three previously on the Fellside label have secured her position.

The material is both eclectic and challenging as always. It ranges from John Pole's classic song of homelessness The Anti Carol through a setting of William Blake's Holy Thursday to the momentous ballad Tam Lin.
