Formerly known as the Keith Dickson Accordion Orchestra, KODA is the up-to-the-minute re-incarnation of this group of highly talented youngsters. Another variety of traditional music and song with a contemporary edge.

Blasting their way through the wild contemporary classics, or smoothing through the more traditional pieces, the group show that their talents are growing up with them.

Based in Biggar, Lanarkshire, instrumentation is made up of fiddle, pipes, whistles and eight - yes eight - accordions, supported by a lively rhythm section of drums, bass, keyboards, piano and percusssion. Seventeen year-old Stacey Paul provides vocals.

Recent band performance highlights have included a set at the Ceilidh Stage at Scotland’s biggest Music Festival, T In The Park, during July 2005.
