A superb collection of original songs, ballads and 'frapping' (folk rap) from wordsmith Pete Morton.

His 'frapping' technique of marrying traditional folk choruses with rap feature highly on this CD.

Pete has always been something of a rambling jobber. His travels have taken him along the country lanes into bothies and barns. His passion... the everyday.

This selection of songs summarises our landscape and helps us to see our place in it a little more clearly.

Starting out as a busker on the streets of Europe, he has entertained all over the globe with his unique and involving style of song-writing and passionate vocal delivery.

He sings from the heart, with songs that tell compelling stories and speak of the human condition from a very unique perspective. The folk tradition plays a big part in Pete's style.

Sleeve notes include song lyrics.

Pete Morton (vocals, guitar, harmonica), Maggie Boyle (vocals, flute), Chris Parkinson (melodeon, accordion, vocals), Jon Brindley (fiddle, guitar), James Budden (bass, vocals), Linda Adams (chorus vocals).

"...amongst the best the British roots music scene has produced in living memory" fRoots Magazine

"Pete is everything we want our singer-songwriters to be. Fiercely creative, proudly independent, skilful, talented, and terminally unpredictable. " Colin Irwin, MOJO Magazine.
