Well known as one of our finest young pipers and tunesmiths, this album showcases Rory Campbell's instrumental talents as well as his songwriting and singing skills.

Featuring many of Rory’s own compositions along with traditional melodies from Scotland, Galicia and Northumbria on various pipes and whistles, and a selection of songs sung in both Gaelic and English.

A truly remarkable all-round musician, Rory is joined here by Jonny Hardie of Old Blind Dogs (guitar) and Donald Hay of Mystery Juice (drums). Much of the album was recorded live.

"First-class, foot-tapping, modern traditional music, and a little bit of weirdness..."

"Widely admired as the piper/low whistle expert with Old Blind Dogs, Campbell is one of Scotland's trekkie pipers, boldly taking the instrument to new universes, while respecting his traditional background - his father is a respected Barra singer... This powerful music has a Scottish soul and an appealingly international outlook." (Norman Chalmers, Scotland on Sunday)
