Tim was awarded the 2012 BBC Radio Two "Best Musician of The Year" and "Best Duo" (BBC Folk Awards 2012) with harmonica guru Brendan Power.

This DVD is a valuable learning tool for the beginner guitarist wanting to learn or improve their skills and understanding of the Dropped D method.

The concept for the DVD was taken from one of Tim’s successful Celtic acoustic guitar workshops, and provides a one on one session in the comfort of your own home.

Tim Edey originally from Broadstairs, Kent honed his style learning from his father Richard, himself a fine guitarist. Tim is a successful solo artist who has toured the world and recorded with most of the major names in Celtic roots music including; The Chieftains, Michael McGoldrick, Christy Moore, Sharon Shannon, The Barra MacNeills, JP Cormier, Lunasa, Vinnie Kilduff, Seamus Begley, Altan, Mary Black, Session A9, Julie Fowlis, Frankie Gavin and many more.

He featured at Celtic Connections in Glasgow 2013 with accompanist Peter Gazey.
