(February 2006)

Seventy-three years' playing experience, and every minute of it shows!

Chris is not a doitled old codger but a musician still in his prime, blazing through reels, jigs, hornpipes, waltzes and slow airs with consummate ease.

His instrument is the 'matchbox', technically identified as the concertina, and ideally suited to these bouncy Irish dance tunes.

No fuss, no affectation, just skill, experience and enjoyment, with a bright accompaniment on piano and guitar.
