(February 2008) 12 tracks (47 mins): When You're Not Here * Open The Door * What Are You Doing Here? * Debts Pile High * Too Old To Die * On Speaking Terms * Looking Up Into The Sun * Light In My Heart * Running From Diane * Dance Me To The End Of Love * It Could Be You * A Day Away From Here.

At the forefront of contemporary songwriting in Scotland for nearly forty years, Rab has selected songs from throughout that period for this recording. All but one Leonard Cohen song are from Rab's own fertile mind.

In the 1990s, Rab formed The Varaflames, a line-up of like-minded musicians - Unlimited Mileage is the second album to emerge from this collaboration. It features such luminaries as Jerry Donahue, James Mackintosh and Brian Kellock, with sterling support from regular accomplice Fraser Speirs, and from Colin MacFarlane who also produced the record.

The songs span a thirty-nine year timeframe, from Too Old To Die, written in 1968, to What Are You Doing Here?, completed in 2007. In addition to Rab’s own material, the album features the fruits of a few of his songwriting partnerships.
