Cape Breton's Wendy MacIsaac is not only a great exponent of the fiddle, but also a talented piano player and stepdancer.

On this album she is joined by a superb line-up of musicians, and even some dancers in the studio for one set.

Wendy started playing the violin at the age of 12 - two of Wendy's teachers were Stan Chapman of Antigonish and Kyle MacNeil of Sydney Mines. By this time she had become an accomplished stepdancer, having been taught from the age of five by her mother, Geraldine.

She has been greatly sought after for playing at dances across Nova Scotia, and has performed in Italy, Scotland and the USA. Wendy has been a member of groups playing across Canada including The Cape Breton Summer Time Revue, and with noted performers including Ashley Maclsaac and Mary Jane Lamond.
